Can you provide an example blazon that demonstrates the problem?
Azure, a chevron dauncetty or

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It is asymmetric and is hard to recognise that it is meant to be dauncetty

What version of drawshield are you using?
2.3f.1

What browser and version where you using to view the shield? Does the
problem also occur on other browsers?
Safari, yes
