Layout of charges "between" other charges #241

Can you provide an example blazon that demonstrates the problem?

argent a lion between two cross crosslets gules

And charges "between" other charges in general - probably need to provide 
explicit layouts for each of these (but not if some other implied layout - like 
"on a bend x between 2 y")
