An unexpected error happened while adding Viera TV #26

Hello, I'm getting the below error and was wondering what was wrong and how to reolve it, I followed the setup instructions and upon restart this is what i got:

[6/26/2020, 22:58:30] [PanasonicVieraTV] Error: An unexpected error happened while adding Viera TV (at '192.168.5.24') as an homebridge Accessory.

TypeError: Cannot read property 'hdmi' of undefined at VieramaticPlatform.init (/usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-vieramatic/lib/homebridge.coffee:485:17) at processTicksAndRejections (internal/process/task_queues.js:97:5)

any help would be much appreciated.

Hi!

can you provide your full homebridge's config.json vieramatic's snippet ? At sight you hdmiInputs is empty, and shouldn't. (error message and handling could bit a bit more explicit - will fix it!)

Things have improved and I can now see one of my TV (TX-58EX700B), i have full control as expected but, the second one (TX-L42E5B) still is having issues. I may have been optimistic with trying the older model?

The plugin is great and I'm really pleased to have set one tv - Thank you for this lovely work!

OK, after a bit of back and forth it seems that sadly the TX-L42E5B (from 2012) is just too old to be consumed by this project. (it's not even already supported afaict by Panasonic's TV Remote ios app). So, there seems that not much i can do, without Panasonic inside(r) help.
