2 years ago it seems It can be fixed by running the file through JWmerge and removing the favorites ignoring the error message, and then repeating this process, and that fixes it.

the bug is there are items stuck in the Favorites list that can not be removed.
on most devices it is just a nuisance, but on the ipad it crashes JWlibrary if the problematic favorite items are moved or attempted to be removed.
I came across this bug after merging jwlibrary backup files from my android phone, ipad and laptop. I suspect I may have deleted the video files on my phone while they were in the favorites list.
there is an error in JWMerge when "Remove Favorites" is selected when I try to remove them from future merged backups, but it is unsuccessful.
