OnlyM for Regional Convention in Sign Language #288

Greetings! Brother.

Your app has been very useful for our meetings. And it has become an excellent choice when JW Library doesn't work.

But let me make a wish. In our convention many brothers have chosen to use VLC as recommended by the office. And I think one of the advantages of VLC is being able to make playlists of each section of the convention.

At the sign language convention, the number of videos is more than twice the number of videos sent by the office. This is because for each text read in a talk means a video in sign language.

The options we currently use besides VLC are Vmix and a program developed by our brothers here in Brazil called "handview".

Would it be possible to create a mode for congress that might have folder hierarchy? For example

Thanks for listening.

Your brother, Charllys

@AntonyCorbett is this a possibility?

@K0rTy Hi Charllys. Thanks for sketching out your ideas on this. I think I understand the most basic requirements and describe them below. Please let me know have you have any further comments.

  1. It must be possible to arrange media items so that they appear within 1 or more named sections which can be ordered.
  2. There must be a way of viewing all section names.
  3. When a section is chosen, its media items must be displayed so that one can be chosen for playback.
  4. It must not be possible to select a section if media is being played.
  5. It should be possible to review the names and order of the media items in a section that is not the current one.
