Quick-Set Timer #373

Our Kingdom Hall is used VERY often for non-standard meetings. Very often we get a request for someone to "do sound" at the last minute. Since we don't know what the agenda looks like until we get to the Hall, we have no time to set up file mode, so we use manual mode. Also, this kind of meeting usually involves one speaker introducing the next. So, there's no time to click through the +/- buttons to reset the timer.

I'd like to see a way to very quickly set a timer and start it. Such as, type the number of minutes and press enter to start the timer. This may be a new feature for manual mode.

It's a good idea with this instant time entry in manual mode. Another idea came to me to improve time settings: in "from file" mode, the ability to download various files by selection. Files with non-standard time divisions could be saved under different names and later easily implemented into the timer. What do you think @anthony? It is possible that these ideas are too complicated or complicate the program too much ..

@bergerchemical - See issue 21 (enhancement). I think that's what you are requesting.

@KenFrantz the problem is that after setting the "from file" mode it is not possible to select the * .xml file with the schedule by providing its name; e.g. visit.xml or memorial.xml or other
