Sorry for the confusion. I have now looked a bit more into this issue and I
belive
the problems is that the rtmp-protocol is not supported in XBMC for PowerPC
OSX. So,
the problem is NOT the asx files, which I belive is playable in the XBMC
dvdplayer
(if you feed it the wmv-file itself). I also know that the dvdplayer has no
problems
playing back the flv-files themselves, given that they are supplied by other
means
than rtmp-protcol.
Also regarding the RAM-files I think that svtplay has stopped suppliyng those
and
decided to use only flash or windowsmedia.
I hope this puts a bit more clearness into my previous report.
I still belive that the channelscript itself could be modifyied to account for
this
by prioritzing the wmv-files, but this is certainly not a bug in XOT-UZG but
rather
in XBMC for PowerPC OS X.
Thanks, and keep up the good work!

I also have problems with SVT, running this greawt script on my old XBOX.
Things worked like a charm until a few weeks ago, when some shows stopped
working.
After upgrading to the latest version of XOT, including the latest channel pack
as
well as the latest svt fix, the issue still remains.
Some shows are perfectly watchable (e.g. the children show Häxan Surtant)
while my
daughters favorite show (I Drömmarnas Trädgård) will not play at all.

I have played around a bit and found additional info that may be of interest
regarding the SVT playback issue.
A couple of weeks ago, SVT released the SVT Play iPhone app. The first thing I
noticed (except that it kicks a**) was that it lacks several shows that are
available
in the web version.
So, I cross-checked the XOT SVT playback issue with the shows that are
available in
the web player and the iPhone app and...
...XOT lists ALL shows (the same list that is displayed in the web player), but
can
only play the ones that are listed in the iPhone app.
The strange thing is that XOT was able to play I Drömmarnas Trädgård (which
is not
listed in the iPhone app) until two/three weeks ago.

Yes, some shows use RTMPE now and that is not supported by XBMC.

Hello again. I do not have an Iphone, so I cannot test the Iphone app. I noticed
though that a few weeks ago svt launched a mobile site. http://mobil.svtplay.se
This
site does not provide all the content as the regular svtplay, but the files are
3gp-files, playable on most mobile devices and (I belive) the files are also
directly
downloadable. I also think even if the site is not accessible by any api, it is
much
easier to scrape than the regular svtplay.
Cheers!

Is this issue still valid?

I guess it's working now that XBMC supports RTMPE
