As I have no real access to XBMC at the moment, could somebody tell me if this
new version shows the program listing? I guess the actual episodes will still
not work, but it would be a start.

I made one more minor fix. You will have to replace the original file with this
new one. You can find it in net.rieter.xot.channel.mtg/tvse/

Well, it kind of works now. I'm using Android xbmc, and now I can find episodes
again. But I can't see them, I hear it playing in the background but I can't
see anything. If I back out to xbmc home screen and try to hit full-screen it
just goes black, still sound but no video
Original comment by vallgren...@gmail.com

Strange, it doesn't categorize clips and episodes no more. Some clips are
playable, but when I try to play episodes it freezes and I have to force close
xbmc.

It almost works for me... The episode list is weird and many episodes are not
working, only Clip. I have no problem with black screens.
I have not seen S01E01. That is something you see on a scene release but maybe
someone else know if it looked like that before?

Well for instance, Paradise hotel(tv3) just ended here in Sweden, and there
are no episodes from 2014. Only episodes from 2013 and I can play them(audio
runs in background, no video), but it doesn't run on top (no full-screen) I
only hear the sounds. And when I'm backing out to xbmc home screen to try to
make it go full-screen I only get black screen with audio.

Thanks for the feedback. I fixed the Gran Turismo TV8 (already ran into this
issue with some of the other none Swedish VIASAT channels). The "Geo-Locked" is
just an indication that it might not play back due to Geo-Locking. I don't know
if the user is actually in the allowed Geo Location or not so I can't show or
hide it based on that.
Regarding the black screens: It could be due to the difference in codecs. Could
you please let me know you system details? Or even better: post a DEBUG
xotplugin.log (see here how to:
http://www.rieter.net/content/xot/troubleshooting/

I'm also getting these problems with VIASAT channels. I tried the 2 lastest
chn_tvse.py
The first one fixed the "Could not connect to network server"-issue it but
didn't say which season. The other one fixed also that.
The problem left now is that it doesn't show all seasons. If you take "Paradise
Hotel" for example. It only show season 2. According to tv3play.se also season
3 should be available. (It is from the web)

With the latest chn_tvse.py you can see all eposides. Even though the names are
not 100% it's still playable.
for example in Paradise Hotel (why do we use that as an example?) it shows like
this:
Season 3 episode 1
Season 3 episode 1
Season 3 episode 2
Season 3 episode 2
where one of them before was called something like uncensored or just clip.
And some eposides like episode 0 is another eposide. Don't know which though.

The naming was caused by a request from jagflashardinxbox360 for which I rename
the episodes based on their number. But I did a better trick now. See if this
is more to your liking.

This is a bit better now. You can you see the correct eposide. And the
"misslabeled" episode has changed name. BUT now season 2 name has been removed.
for example:
Season 3 episode 1
Season 3 episode 2
and so on..
this is season 2 below
episode 1
episode 2
You got it?

Nope, I don't get it. Please attach a screenshot and tell me on what page of
the Paradise Hotel you are seeing this behaviour.
Original comment by basrie...@gmail.com
on 20 Feb 2014 at 3:59
Ok, I did find one but let me explain this. What I do is:
- I take the original title from the Android JSON api
- if the show has episodes and seasons I check if the title has sXXeXX in it
that MATCHES the season and episode data from the JSON api
- if it has, I make it look like 'Show Name - Säsong XX Avsnitt XX'. But only
because most people will not understand s00e00.
- if there was no sXXeXXor it did not match I just keep the title as it is.
And there is the problem. TV3 is misbehaving on their naming. Some are called
'Paradise Hotel S03E12' and other 'Paradise Hotel - avsnitt 40'. So the first
one gets renamed into 'Paradise Hotel - Säsong 3 Avsnitt 12' and the second
one stays as it is. I know you are thinking: can't you just add the Säsong X
in after the '-' in the second title ('Paradise Hotel - avsnitt 40')? The
answer is NO. Because then there will most likely be another show that has
different naming format (like 'Paradise Hotel - 40') and it will not make any
sense.
Do what I do: via the XOT add-on settings change the default sort order to sort
by date. This will be the default for all folders for which you did not
manually change the sort order. For folders that are still sorted by name, use
the XBMC folder menu to sort by date. This should at least show all videos in
the right order.
Original comment by basrie...@gmail.com
on 20 Feb 2014 at 4:14
Ok, one more effort for naming's sake. I thinks this is as good as it gets. If
you all agree I will do an official update and I can continue with XOT 3.5.0

I really think it an android codec issue and with that I really can't help you.
The only thing you try is setting XBMC Online TV to a maximum bitrate of 4000.
That way it will take the none-rtmp streams and those might work better.
http://iphone.cdn.viasat.tv/iphone/009/00923/S92332_paradisehotelsve_0wchh0dhkzh
ucgzn_iphone.m3u8 - bitrate=2500

ram/ph_se_314.flv - bitrate=2000

Sometimes SVTPlay have problem to detect the location of the IP address. Maybe
you don't have any host name so Viasat thinks you are from outside Sweden? Try
to do a reverse lookup on your IP address and see if you have one. You are not
using any 4G? I don't think they always allow you to use that, but i'm not
sure...

Like I said: you have an RTMP codec issue on Android. The 4000 bitrates makes
XBMC Online TV play the M3U8 streams.
