TypeError: expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType #105

I keep getting the following error when trying to run a simple command from the README.

What am I missing here?

Hey, I have gotten that same error when I tried doing it in cmd too. From looking at a lot of the issues that I think there were some corrections made to the original samsungctl package that other people have created. Do you know by any chance of getting those new scripts that were added. Also, what series is your samsung smart tv? For M series and newer I believe there were some new modifications that I'm referring to but for older models there were some other answers that you might find useful in other issues reported.
