When attempting to add a duplicate assignment, you're prompted to confirm you'd like to add the assignment:
This contains a double negative, asking you to press "cancel" if you'd like to cancel the cancellation.

I think you should reword and negate the prompt, to something like "You've already added an assignment with this name. Do you still want to continue?" where "OK" adds the assignment, and "Cancel" does not. This seems more intuitive to me.
