Its quite impressive that idea is from roblox but anyway, what if we have neon-lighted paintable wires? So we could paint the cables using brushes, or insert painted glass panes into neon wires to make for example red cable glow blue

They do NOT have to emit light - they can just have very bright line in the middle so they would look cool!

The bigger the voltage is - the lighter they get Also (that is a really quite hard task) - there can be made alt. versions that get brigher not from the voltage, but from power going thru or temperature, so "cable maker" can have multiple purposes.

P.S. Don't judge the painting, it was drawn in Paint in like 10 minutes image

That seems like quite a neat idea. Also, it probably wouldn't be too hard to make, since most things in eln aren't rendered by the game automatically, they are rendered by a custom renderer, so it is quite a possible thing.
