Fix bug overwriting edges each batch

• Accumulate the edges properly

Motivation and Context

• Previously, there was a bug that was overwriting the edges for each batch.

Does this PR introduce a breaking change?

Yes. Previous edge calculation using the "squared" option will be different (and wrong).
