Are there any specifications available like data structures and such? Then maybe ... I do not own such a device, so hard for me to try it out myself

I don't own this device yet. As far as I know, Siegenia was pretty open in sharing information for the already implemented devices. Is there anything I could help with, if I had access to this device? I was unsure if it was even possible to intergrate this since it communicates via Matter directly with a Homepod Mini.

Ahhh Matter really? Cool ... Then wait for the coming Matter adapter and you can pair it with iobroker :-)

Ok how does the communication work then? I guess an additional Matter compatible device that supports BT LE, Wifi and Thread will be needed? Does this already exist?

For Thread you will need one device that acts as "border router". this can be a Apple HomePod, some Google Nest things and some Amazon devices ... or an USB stick on a Raspi for an "own" Thread network ...

Ok thanks I just wasn't sure if it will work with an existing device like a homepod mini. Is there an estimate when the matter adapter will be ready?

homepod mini from apple should work ... see also https://github.com/project-chip/matter.js#pairing-and-usage-information

when ... "soon" :-) I would vote for January ... in any case Q1/24
