Discharge Clamshell Mode Issues #1077

When I use my Macbook in clamshell mode while charging it works fine, until it actually reaches it's charging limit. Whenever it just hits the limit, it disconnects the battery and goes into direct power mode. The macbook goes to sleep because the battery or the charging cable got internally unplugged and the battery jumps back to e.g. 79% in the meantime.

What I mean by that is that the battery never actually reaches the charge limit and then the macbook is stuck between trying to disconnect the battery since it is at the charge limit, then going to sleep because the charge cable got "disconnected" and plugged in directly but in the meantime the battery fell below the limit again so I am stuck in an infinite loop.

The only fix that I found for this is that I have to actually wait until the macbook is at the charge limit while not being in clamshell mode and for AlDente to show the charge paused icon. After that I can use clamshell mode without any issues.

Seems to have been an issue with my macbook not really charging correctly from USB-C for some reason
