After a little more use it appears that sailing mode functions quite a lot like a lower limit if you use a large sailing amount.
Is that the intention? What sailing amount do you typically set for yourself?

Hi @hdsateyate,
Yes, the Sailing Mode is intended for this usage. The Sailing range depends on factors such as personal preference, usage, setup, and so on. I have it usually set to 5%. You can also read more about the Sailing Mode on our blog.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I am coming from Energiza Pro which allows you to set an upper limit and a lower limit.
I appreciate that having a charge limit is really helpful for prolonging the life of the battery. I have a sense that preventing an unnecessary charge cycle (even a partial charge) if undesired would be an additional help.
Describe the solution you'd like I would like to have the option to set a lower limit such that if the computer is plugged in with a charge level between the two levels it does not immediately charge to the top limit as currently but instead remains at the current level with sailing mode activated.
A couple of additional features that might be beneficial if the above is implemented:
Describe alternatives you've considered A large sailing amount but this is clearly not the same thing.
Additional context I have switched from Energiza Pro to Al Dente Pro because I had the sense that Energiza Pro was not working effectively, my battery health was dropping very quickly. Hoping Al Dente Pro will give me a better feeling 🤞 I have only just switched (yesterday).
Here is Energiza Pro's implementation:
