Thanks for creating the issue!
We currently don't support Android, and the docs still have the vestiges of our work in progress. We recommend that developers who wish to do instant Android updates use the fantastic Microsoft CodePush service.
Sorry for the confusion-- we will keep this issue updated with our progress on AppHub Android support.

The description for this repo https://github.com/AppHubPlatform/apphub mentions Android, however the instructions for creating a new build http://docs.apphub.io/v1.0/docs/apphub-cli do not mention Android, nor do the quick start http://docs.apphub.io/ instructions (but there are Java instructions for Configuration (Native SDKs) article). There is a separate branch marked android https://github.com/AppHubPlatform/apphub/tree/android that hasn't been touched in months.
I can't find any announcements or discussion indicating either way.
Apologies for the loose interpretation of "issue", but I am choosing to place this here as it will be indexed by Google and is likely to get a response that will help others answer the same question.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. This clarifies things perfectly, thanks.
I suggest removing the mention of Android from the repo description until such time as it is supported.
This mislead me, too. What a bummer...

@arbesfeld, there's now a handful of devs here complaining that they were mislead into thinking that AppHub would work for Android. It is definitely a worthwhile use of your time to at least remove the /Android
from the GitHub repo description so that you're no longer making an outright false claim about AppHub's platform support; that will take you 15 seconds and may save several developers from wasting hours implementing a solution that won't work. (That's leaving aside the fact that you're currently falsely marketing a commercial product; while it looks to me like it's ended up that way simply because you moved on to other things before implementing Android support, rather than through any dishonest intent, you still have an ethical duty to remove that false marketing, in my view.)
