Aus meiner Sicht nichts, muss nur jemand machen.

Was ist der nutzen? Was muss man tun?

Der Nutzen ist, dass F-Droid-Nutzer die App installieren können und darüber auch Updates beziehen. (Im Gegensatz zum Download der APK)

Was man in Detail tun muss kann ich nicht sagen, da ich es noch nie gemacht hab. Sollte alles bei dem Link erklärt sein.

Gibt das nicht Probleme, weil die App GooglePlayservice nutzt?

Ich habe mal mit OSMdroid gespielt, funktioniert einfach nicht richtig.

Ich bin leider keine Hilfe was die Programmierung angeht, möchte aber äußern, dass die Freifunk-App m.E. Google-frei nutzbar sein muss und zudem am besten auch neben dem Playstore alternativ via F-Droid angeboten werden muss. Alles andere entspricht nicht wirklich dem Gedanken "Freifunk", oder ;-)?

PS.: Außerdem scheint die hier via Github herunterladbare App in einer älteren Version vorzuliegen als im Playstore, das finde ich unglücklich. Und noch die Frage, gibt es ein Changelog?

Also das Problem ist hier vielmehr, dass die App ohne Google Play Services gar nicht funktioniert, deswegen fällt Sie für F-Droid raus. Damit diese App für F-Droid verwendbar ist, müsste es einen Umstieg geben, auf eine Version ohne Google Play Service.

nein. Mit Titanium, dann braucht man ein Module, dass die Lib nutzt.
