Toolbar only - no Markdown conversion or live preview #10

Would you be willing to release a separate file that only includes the
toolbar? The only functionality I'm after is being able to click buttons
and have markdown inserted in my textarea.

The WMD version being hosted on github 
(http://github.com/derobins/wmd/tree/master)
is not obfuscated or minified.  Since this code is under the MIT license you 
are free
to use the button code in your own application or website.  I have no plans to 
just
release the toolbar since it's so easy to grab the button code.

There are also several other editors you might look at:

jWYSIWYG (http://projects.bundleweb.com.ar/jWYSIWYG/)
markitup (http://markitup.jaysalvat.com/home/)

Check the licensing but I think they are both open source.
