Moving into A-Lab #13

This issue can be used to prepare the tasks and actions needed to move into A-Lab.

Usage

There is a milestone for the move into A-Lab named Appsterdam Rehousing which can be used for issues related to the move.

So when creating a new issue related to this topic, you can set the milestone. This will keep everything grouped together.

What is needed here for the move? Pair of hands? Materials? What will be the hours? Will people be needed for staffing etc?

Needed is an Apsterdam key holder to be there. I gave two keys to Judy.

You can go now, 24/7, no furniture needed, plug and play.

Hi all,

So our A-Lab hangout is open for business since yesterday. It has been signed for. Spread the word.

The goal of A-lab is to build an environment exclusively for technology and new media. We’re neighbors of the Tower bought by IID&T, and which will be turned into a Music and Technology centre.

As I am on a holiday for one week, here is some info: We got three pair of keys. I am one key holder as they programmed Appsterdam access on my Camerize key. Judy has two sets. We need to set up a plan for those two keys so that people can get in.

Any Appsterdammer can get a key on his own name for €100/month. You will then have access 24/7.

Marcus Fernhout (the developer) would like to plan an opening drink in about 14 days, talk to him. It would great if that is planned together next week and announced on Meetup.

Keep me in the loop of stuff happening. I’ll read my mail once a day. And, I’ll pop by next friday to join the works again.

I'm working from A-Lab for the first time today. Our room is Workhotel.001 which is the first office space on the right, after you enter the hall on the right of the coffee lounge. Martinus gave me two sets of keys to the building, I gave one set to Tara. After my tweet earlier today, I am expecting one visitor.

This Friday, July 26, A Lab would like to see a lot of people working from the Appsterdam workhotel since they have someone they want to impress that morning. :) The person will arrive at 10:00. It would be awesome if everyone can come and show their support by working from the new HQ that morning. There will be free coffee, and of course, free wifi as always.

I'm hesitant to put it on Meetup since we aren't really officially open, but it would be great if you can help spread the word.
