Help with Danish delegation #71

A delegation from Denmark is coming to Amsterdam to get inspired by how the Dutch communicate digitally. They've asked Appsterdam to take part in their study trip and will visit us on Friday, 1 November at 11:00.

Since there are 17 of them coming, I'm looking for some other Appsterdammers to be there with me and help answer their questions. I actually thought there was only going to be 4 or 5 of them at the most, but I was just informed yesterday that they would be 17.

About who they are and what they're looking for:

We are a national Network for Digital Mobile Communication - people who works with projects involving digital communication in many ways – all over Denmark. I work at the tourist destination Søhøjlandet (The Danish Lakelands) also known as VisitSkanderborg – which facilitates the network.
The network are based upon the project OplevGudenaa, which aims at creating better access to, better experiences at and better communication about Denmark’s only River, The Gudenaa.

So far we have done quite a few projects involving mobile websites, podcasts accessed by QR codes etc. – and now it’s time to move on, get wiser, get inspired. They want to:

What they're hoping to gain from us:

I imagine that you’ll tell us all about who/what Appsterdam is, show us some examples of how your organization works, perhaps we can even meet up with some Appsterdammers? Perhaps you have some recommendations for us “when working digitally”, anything is welcome.

We are very open minded, “down to earth” and eager to learn – and ask questions.

I'd be glad to help out. Can only stay a for a couple hours. 11-13 work?

@PlayfulPandas @tross6 @tomvanarman Thanks, you guys! I'll be happy to have all of you there. I can't imagine it'll take more than two hours, probably 90 minutes at the most. I'll prepare a 10-15 minute presentation and then just open it up to questions. Really glad you guys are jumping in to help :)

@PlayfulPandas @tross6 @tomvanarman Since the group is arriving at 11:00, can you guys arrive at A Lab at 10:30, just to make sure we're all there before they get there?

OH, I forgot - the other day I broke a tooth and the dentist gave me an appointment tomorrow at 1030, I will try to make it by 12 something but it depends on the work - can't really negotiate the time with the dentist, it was already lucky enough to get an appointment on so short notice

@tross6 @tomvanarman They just called me and said they have to push back for 1/2 an hour, so that'll be 11:30. So Tara, if you wanna come at 11, that's totally fine.

@PlayfulPandas: If you can't make it, that's ok. It's more important that you get your tooth fixed :)

@tomvanarman @tross6 Thank you both so much for being there for the Danish Digital Communications network. I think they really enjoyed the visit and that we gave a good representation of Appsterdam. Many thanks!
