Thank you, Matteo! To add more information about the role--we need the host/coordinator to be available on Wednesdays from 12:00-2:30 to set up the room, greet the speaker and help them get set up, and to kick off the lecture by giving any announcements and introducing the speaker. We have another volunteer, @tingy, who handles the scheduling of the speakers, so the only time required is the actual lecture on Wednesdays.
This is a high-visibility role and a great opportunity for networking and getting to know the community. I will also be there for the first couple of weeks to coach the new person and help them ease into the role.

So we have two new volunteers to help with hosting the lectures. Thanks Tiago and Arnaud! However, we're still looking for a couple of more people, so we have a good-sized group of experienced hosts who can rotate in and out as the others have other obligations, etc.

Mike is now running WWLL solo.
2014 will see my departure from my role as coordinator of the Appsterdam Speakers bureau after more than two years. So, we are looking for a replacement.
The duties are mainly limited to the organization of the WWLL every week (plus some occasional duties). Since the sceduling of the speakers is taken care by another person, this boils down to prepare the venue and introduce the speaker (more details can be found here).
This role gives a good opportunity to be involved directly in the community and get to know the (sometimes famous) speakers that participate to our lectures, as well as the attendees.
I will cover the role until the end of January 2014, so we need someone as of February.
