[New Feature] Service Items Codes need a sub code #14

Hi,

Aptronics Services items need to further be sub-categorised according to the spreadsheet attached. We do not want to create additional items to manage these sub codes and currently in X3 they get filtered based on the item selected.

These subcodes are used in reporting and also to select the right cost center on the doctypes where cost centers are required.

Also, subcode field should only appear and be filtered based on the services code selected.

We can discuss futher if need be.

Naresh was just here, discussing if this can be designed in some form of heirachy. Waiting on him with what he wants and will provide here once I get it

Services item sub-codes have been finalised and need to be used now in ERPNext as well. Can we workout the workflow and mechanism on how we will use this.

I know we mentioned we could use some version of the item category on the documents to capture the subcodes.

Whats the plan? Also once we figure out what we need to do I can do the import of the codes onto the category list.
