Nor-BTS cpue based on haul duration #22

The cpue based on haul duration (columns and 'numcpue' and 'wgtcpue') for Nor-BTS are a factor of ~60 too large.

Example for Amblyraja radiata in haul '2005 10 3270 13 085'. Haul duration is 30 minutes. Reported number of individuals is 10. Cpue in no./hour should thus be 10*(60/30) = 20, but numcpue reports 1200. This is a factor of 60 too large, and this applies to all species in this haul, and many (if not all) hauls as well. For wgtcpue, the factor varies, possibly due to underlying length-weight conversions.

I have not seen this issue to be the case for cpua (catches standardized by swept area).
