Develop test layer to maintain code functionality

Go implements a test suit in the language itself.

I will research to see how to integrate this tests with travis (they offer their CI solution for free to open source projects).

Added Travis CI with test command.

As an added bonus I added Coveralls code coverage to Travis CI
