arachni_web - Illegal instruction at 0x00007efe96ac53c0 at launch on Debian 11 server #156

Hello.

I'm unable to launch arachni_web on a newly created Debian 11 headless machine after decompressing the archive (machine up to date). Windows Version works fine. Does it need some additional packages to make it works ?

First line error : /opt/arachni-1.6.0-0.6.0/.system/gems/gems/ffi-1.15.5/lib/ffi/library.rb:401: [BUG] Illegal instruction at 0x00007efe96ac53c0 ruby 2.7.5p203 (2021-11-24 revision f69aeb8314) [x86_64-linux]

Google Chrome installed, glibc 2.33

Btw, what do you mean by Debian headless?

Sorry for my mistake : Debian server (command line /ssh only)

same results on Kali too... will try ubuntu today.

I've tried it on Kali and it worked fine, you're using 64bit right?

yes, 64 bit. Tested on : Kali, virtual machine (esx), no desktop : not working Kali, virtual machine (virtual box), with desktop : not working debian 11, virtual machine (virtualbox), desktop : not working. Windows 10, physical machine : working

Maybe I've missed something... I've installed Chrome, unpacked the archive, launched arachni or arachni_web..

The goal is to eventually use it in a production environment (with licence).That's why we want to evaluate it.

Can you please send me the full output at tasos.laskos@gmail.com ?

PS. Try running it as a non root user under a non root user dir.

Hello.

Launched well on my production environnment (kali) : will test scan capabilities today.

on vps : not working as before : something missing on this system, i suppose (conf is the same than prod env).. will try again => i have to made rolling update on boths

if will report you if i find strange behaviors with this version. Will try sites scans today.
