compile-time $.mvn("foo") would be quite interesting.
What do you mean Jim ? I don't follow you.
I didnt mean much by this.
i initially misread the meaning of "[$ mvn gwt:run]" above and gave 1 second of thought to a maven-integrated gq code generator. internal maven processing within gwt projects has surfaced in a few build discussions in the past but i clicked on this issue due to the odd coincidence of $ and the maven task.
Interesting Jim, but the dollar was only the user's cli prompt :-( btw, are you going to be at the gwt-meetup like last year?
email me an invite and I'll think about it :) No immediate plans this year as yet. I'm focused more on building embedded java&c++ couch backend this year and I'm hoping GWT sits still long enough to leave it alone for a minute without re-learning everything :)
