More trace data?/ #2

Hi-

So I do not have an android phone - or know anyone close with one - so I have the BT debugger on my Mac / iPhone and I can see a TON of packets, so I am trying to see if there is something to filter down the data to catch the key.

Can you share more of the BT trace data so I can look for patterns?

Because I do not see anything close to what you shared in that one line.

I'm not sure the key is transmitted over the air. Except may be when a new device joins. I also don't use Android phones, but have a cheap $20 one specially for cases like this one.

I can share BT trace data, but it would be pretty useless. When the device in unpaired it does broadcast packets with default key, which is 0x5e367bc4 For one time setup it is really better to just use ANdroid phone, but if you plan to entend this gateway adding enrollment functionality - than it is worth it. I would try to play with dumping and analyzing the enrollment process data too, time permitting.
