Woah that's insane. 2GB. There must be a memory leak.

Sorry to bump this without more relevant information but this has been the issue for me too and I have no idea how to troubleshoot it. Eventually it climbs to like 5GB of RAM and Chrome starts unloading inactive tabs in response, that's how I usually know the bug has happened. Using 3.6.2 version. If you have suggestions on how can I log this I will do it and come back when it happens again.
