Axis/ticks weights, sizes, padding #23

In #22, brought up that:

length of X axis ticks should be shorter
padding between axis and labels should be increased
tick marks and axis lines should have same weight of 0.75 px
In legend bars, tick marks are moved outside of the bar and are black (see if this is possible)

This should all be addressed except for the legend bar ticks being moved outside of the color bar, right now it's not something I'm sure can be fixed but will make a separate issue for it.
