Redesign Chicken Mode #171

Chickens get kind of boring towards the mid to late game stages. This is because defenses become impenetrable at that point. At this point a major redesign of the entire chicken mode is needed.

Prehaps the late game chickens could become ridiculously chonky? such that it's simply not possible to survive for 60 minutes as by around, say, minute 50 the waves might contain, say, hundreds of tiamats and blobbers each with prehaps strider level (or superstrider level) stats. Instead, the player is forced to actually go out and clear the roosts in order to rush down the queen before the super scary chickens have time to spawn changing the queen time and the roost time "penality", as well as making rafflesia an anti (so oblivion isn't the best way to clear roosts) might make for some interesting gameplay

Menaces sound fun, like, a super-unit that puts lots of pressure on a single point of your defense to make a hole. It'll need to be followed up by a horde of chickens but at least the hole is there. would also make units more viable in chix since units are able to focus down the menace as well as get out of it's way

In other news, chix early game may need nerfing. or not. suicidal should actually feel suicidal

Here's my list of ideas

Mana Required: ~1000-2000 in total, minus the modelling required for meances. Assuming nothing goes wrong (morbid laughter). Could do in 1 to infinity weeks depending on irl stuff (sorry if I'm writing too many logs, part of me just really loves thinking, please tell me to stop if that's required)
