I see there are instructions in http://code.google.com/p/spatialite-android/,
but if you could integrate that repo and the tarballs referenced in the
instructions that would help us a lot, thanks!

Hi David,
I see you found the spatialite-android repo. So the sources are not needed any
more, right?
You are asking me to place in the geopap wiki some references to the
spatialite-android project?

The spatialite-android build instructions involves downloading many archives;
probably because it is a young project. Ergo, it adds some complexity to our
build process. We can do it, but maybe you would like to. Nevertheless all
libraries should have references in the README.

To be honest I am currently using the spatialite binary libs that are available
here:
https://www.gaia-gis.it/fossil/libspatialite/wiki?name=splite-android
I built a development version of spatialite-android just once because I was
asked to test.
As you mention, it is a young project and I am not sure who would be
"responsible" for the build at the moment.
I agree that some references are missing in the about file, i will keep this
issue open. This has been some rush development lately, thanks.
