Controller weirdness on resume menu #184

Describe the bug In some scenarios, controller interaction with the resume menu unexpectedly becomes impossible.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: launch the game, use mouse controls to open options menu use dpad/joystick inputs to navigate back to main menu, open up saves, continue an AP save you get prompted with the resume screen no matter what controller inputs you do you cannot select any item on screen or press B to go back

Expected behavior Controller inputs should work.
