An option should be provided to prefix each line with a timestamp or show when the last activity of standard out occurred. This will inform the user whether it is working or not (if the script doesn't)
Something like a div changes to a different color when stdout occurs when the tab/window is not focused and then it resets back to normal when the user looks at it could be useful too.
