The system needs to be able to have configurable currency, so that not just GOLD_NUGGETS, GOLD_INGOTS, GOLD_BLOCKS, DIAMONDS, and DIAMOND_BLOCKS are used as currency.

The implementation of this disables the ability to limit the 'color up' restrictions as there are no longer any static currency settings. The default configuration included maintains the original currency and conversion rates.
