Icon Pack Launcher compatibility

This is a list with launchers that support icon packs. Some launchers have more icon pack options than others, Arcticons Material You and Day & Night use newer Android features that are not supported by every launcher.

The list is a work in progress, feel free to let me know if I missed something or if it isn't correct.

KISS Launcher works :heavy_check_mark: Nothing launcher does not work (icon pack has to be reapplied to change the color)

On Kiss Kvaesitso theme switching only works if "Dynamic colors" is activated but then a background is added (works not as intended).

On Kiss theme switching only works if "Dynamic colors" is activated but then a background is added (works not as intended).

Interesting, for me it works 🤔 It just needs about 2 Minutes after switching to use the other color.

I dont know why i have written Kiss but i did mean Kvaesitso

I've been talking to the before launcher devs, they added it to their backlog! :)

@inson1 Simple Launcher doesn't support icon packs as far as I know! I've updated the list to include it.

I see Stario on the list but when I installed it I wasn't able to apply the icon pack. Can anyone explain me how to? Thanks in advance.

Click on the gear icon, then scroll down to the icon pack option and drag Arcticons to the top!

While Nova works for the Material You version, when selecting a specific icon manually for an app, it doesn't adapt. Its color doesn't change and it keeps light or dark mode, whichever was set when the icon was selected. Screenshot_20240702_204012_Nova Launcher

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do on our side. This can only be fixed by the launcher itself.

Let the Nova Launcher devs know you want this feature! In their discord server for example. @eva-vo I've actually talked about them in the past on this issue, but they told me it was by design. The more people report it, the bigger The chance that they'll fix it!

Cool, thanks for testing! Direct apply is a feature that has to be implemented in the launcher and the candybar dashboard.

One last thing, does Mint show dynamic calendar icons?

Colors might not update when you change your wallpaper or switch to dark mode. This is something that your launcher controls and changes. Most of them handle it differently, sometimes you might have to reapply the icon pack in order for it to work. Check the Supported Launchers to see more details.

Just discovered this great and very complete icon pack ! Fwiw, I added a PR here that might interest you https://github.com/zixpo/candybar/pull/201 To be complete, I added the same kind of PR here https://github.com/jahirfiquitiva/Blueprint/pull/321, though it's not relevant for your icon pack. Not sure how often both maintainers check the PRs, so I thought I should let you know. Open to discussion if you have any question.
