Are part identifiers still searchable under other ids? NEON uses these and we have queries for them based on those numbers.

These can also be found in the barcode labels for the parts to which they should be associated.

They would not be - but you would just need to give them another search (by part ID rather than other ID).
This is more complicated than that, as NEON is harvesting the GGBN resource published to VertNet, which I do not think includes part IDs. We need to keep sample ID as a distinct ID type, at least until all this can be resolved.
