Adding soil samples to loan #8318

I am sending a loan of primarily mammal tissues and environmental samples off for PFAS testing in a MSB Mammal loan, and the request included a few plant, fish, insect, and soil samples. The latter are cataloged in my MSB:DGR collection. To avoid duplication and unneccessary effort, for the time being Iv'e added the MSB:DGR samples to the Mammal loan - that way all the samples the recipient receives are in a single loan transaction, and they will have a single loan itemized list of items to cite. This all worked fine, except for the two soil samples. Is there some reason that I can add a dragonfly and a cattail to a mammal loan, but not a soil sample? Here is the loan: https://arctos.database.museum/loanItemReview.cfm?transaction_id=21143551 Here are the soil samples I need to add without subsampling to the loan: https://arctos.database.museum/guid/MSB:DGR:3157 https://arctos.database.museum/guid/MSB:DGR:3158 Possible?

I tried to use Add Items to Transaction using the guids - all the items showed up in the search results, but when I clicked "Add Items to Transaction" in the Tools menu, everything except the soil samples showed up. Not sure how I can get the soil samples to add.

Figured it out - I hadn't added parts. I added part = environmental sample and then could add the parts to the loan.
