This How To needs a complete overhaul. @Nicole-Ridgwell-NMMNHS and @dustymc I need your help understanding how/if this is working as expected. The addition of all of the UWBM paleo terms means that A LOT of relationships need to be created.

The following need to be added to this How To

The following could use some more work

No need to complete below this point - these are reminders for the person working on the update

When the above are complete, notify the Arctos Community of the update.

A LOT of relationships need to be created

lithostratigraphy doesn't have relationships anymore?

This How To needs a complete overhaul.

Adding geography terms is now just a code table request, with maybe some tips on writing a definition? Maybe some things to supplement table descriptions?

Jegelewicz commented 11 months ago

Do we still have "not valid for data entry" terms?

Jegelewicz commented 11 months ago

Is this true?

Any terms that are currently children of the term chosen here will move along with this child term to the parent.

Maybe they don't DO anything, but they are there...

I am unable to make this documentation usable, because I am not exactly sure how or if this is doing anything.

I didn't realize they were still there, the table is so stretched out on my screen that I don't see them unless I scroll left. Also you can't add or see metadata in the edit code table page.

no

you can't add or see metadata in the edit code table page.

Sure you can - just use the "Manage Metadata" link!
