Unable to change paths and folder structures #6

Open darekkay opened 8 years ago

darekkay commented 8 years ago

In the latest beta release, I'm unable to change both the download path and the folder structure for albums/playlists.

When I click on "download folder", an empty view opens, where none of the navigation buttons work (left arrow and cross). When I click on "folder structure (album/playlist)", nothing happens.

The "show log" options is unavailable in the beta release, so I cannot inspect the log output.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.3.

The latest beta release is for Android 6. Might be an idea to try an earlier version such as 2.3.1

Those are both fixed in my fork, should you still be interested.

EDIT: Although I should note that my fork requires Android 5 because of the usage of various new APIs, and I will not make it compatible with lower versions of Android. That being said, I welcome PRs that do that, and I would probably merge such a PR, given it fits in properly.

Hi Jan,

Happy New Year!

Thanks for that. Your forked version works with the latest version of Google Play Music whereas v2.3.4 can no longer see those music files.

Thanks. This is on a google 5.1 device.

Best wishes
