Hi, I can also say that even though I've deleted all Autonumber records from CRM it still continues to generate Autonumbers so it appears as if the solution is holding some records somewhere?
Hi, I'm now completely confused. I've managed to uninstall the solution by using the Plugin Registration Tool to unregister the step that was prevent the uninstall and now the solution is uninstalled an no plugin shows to be registered (see screenshot) yet still I get a autonumber generated. It appears there is some remanence of the solution present with stale configuration. Any suggestion how I ensure the solution is completely removed? Where is the plugin cached on the server? Please HELP - spent three days on this now.
Try IIS reset if you using on-premise CRM. For online CRM try to register/unregister CeledonAutoNumber assembly several times. That should invalidate plugin cache. Otherwise open ticket to Microsoft.
I've recently tried to use your autonumber solution but it didn't quite deliver what I needed so I've tried to uninstall and I get the following error "Cannot delete SdkMessageProcessingStep, because one or more components require it. Details If you contact support, please provide the technical details" I've ensured I've deleted all AutoNumber records. I've even rebooted the server but still receive the same error when uninstalling, any suggestions what I need to do to remove the solution?
