Elevation Profile with referenced to AGL. #706

Since Mission Planner only displays in 2D, I find the Elevation Profile essential in the steep terrain that I survey. I would like an option to display the flight profile with reference to AGL. As it is, I need to try to visually subtract the terrain line from the flight planned line and I have a difficult time determining the nearest I will be to the terrain. I imagine 2 checkboxes that turn either the GE or SRTM data into the X axis.
Another nice touch would be a report of the lowest and highest AGL altitude in the current flight plan.

Thank you for your consideration

you do know the elevation graph does this?

elevation graph

The red line shows my flight planned altitude relative to Home Altitude. I am asking for an option to show the red line relative to the terrain data. If the green GE line were to become the x axis, then the y axis would read the actual AGL above the terrain. I could simply read off the lowest altitude from the y axis, rather than having to subtract the data line from each other.

573 is a different request, but also involves improvements to the Elevation Graph which could be implemented together.

Michael, Is my request not clear?

Is this enhancement being considered? It would be a very valuable improvement for those of us who flight plan in steep terrain.

Is there any hope for this? I just want to see a graph that shows how close I get to the terrain without having to subtract out the difference.
