The polygon geofence feature currently enabled for ArduPlane is useful for Arducopter users as well. It should have identical behaviour to the automatic tin-shaped geofence.
Polygon geofence is currently disabled for anything except ArduPlane in the Mission Planner context menu in FlightPlanner.cs, 5308-5318: https://github.com/diydrones/MissionPlanner/blob/cba0e5ba9b705d5db26380f3d63d535d7db72703/GCSViews/FlightPlanner.cs#L5308-L5318
