Sprint 2 Blog

Assignment Points Grade Evidence
Baseline Grade - 55%
Max Grade 90% 85% Grade is described below.
Pull Request (Integration) 1 0.9 All pull requests were completed on time. We did everything correctly and made sure to check with each of us as teammates to make sure no one had any bad commits or error with their code. We overall had a smooth experience and succeeded on doing merge commits as well
Relevancy Checklist (Peer) 2 1.8 Hi my name is Akshaj, Arhaan you have done a great job throughout the lesson, I have seen you work really hard to elevate our lessons. While I was responsible for the python examples of our lesson, you were responsible for the Javascript examples. You have done a good job in understanding your material before performing. Even though you seemed unconfident up their, I know that you actually knew your lessons.
Lesson Style (Period) 1 0.85 In the start, the lesson style was unique and different but overall after it started downgrading and was not as good as it should have been.
Homework, Popcorn Hacks 6 0.9 High effort placed into both popcorn and homework hacks. For popcorn hacks, I revised them and added my own features. For homework hacks, I went above and beyond by adding unique aspects to some. Evidence: Received a 0.90 for all of my homework hacks
Individual Contribution 1 0.9 As a scrum master, I was the person that had to be the most responsible in the group which included me doing pull requests, giving out tasks for the scrums, and even communicating with the other scrum masters as well. I feel like I did a pretty good job interacting with my group members and compeleting my part of the lesson in the correct way
Personal Notebooks / Blogs 1 0.9 My personal notebooks and blogs are organized and placed in the correct spot with all of my hacks and themes being there. There is a summary of everything I understood and also need improving on. Website Link.
Total 11 ~0.9 Evidence provided above, also in GitHub pull requests, personal website, and team lesson content.
Skill Points Grade Evidence
Work Habits (Analytics) 1 0.9 I always focus on CSP during CSP and don't do any other homework, aiming to improve my CSP skills. I pay attention to Mr. Mortensen while lecturing and try to use that information when asked questions. Analytics:
Team Planning (Issue) 1 0.9 I planned our lesson with various contingencies to avoid issues during content development. I also made pull requests that didn’t risk breaking the website or causing merge conflicts. Planning Issue
Presentation Memories 1 0.89 I enjoyed presenting because people were engaged! Nearly everyone had a notebook out and was trying creative solutions to popcorn hacks. Presentation ran smoothly; with more practice, I could avoid minor confusion during the presentation. I can also improve on my personal speaking skills and help others understand what I am talking about
Grading and Feedback 1 0.9 We provided feedback to other groups as it helped them improve their lessons. We graded everyone who did our hacks honestly and with a lot of comments telling them on what to improve on. All links
Beyond Perfunctory 1 0.88 Made efforts to create a unique lesson. As a scrum master, I was giving my teammates instructions and tasks to do in the specific part of the lesson. Each person in our group did a lot and without each other we would not be able to complete anything.

Relevancy Checklist I made this after looking at everyones comments.

Assignment Weightage Grade Comments
College Board Coverage 20 0.86 I don't think my lessons really were fully related to college board as I used other sources for information but overall there was a little bit of relation
Python Examples 15 0.9 My part of the lesson was Javascript but I did a lot of the hacks in python and I think I succeeded on them
JavaScript Examples 15 0.9 I did a great job creating examples and as well completed the hacks in javascript correctly
Popcorn Hack Usage 10 0.9 I created many great popcorn hacks for using for future exams or just a way to understand coding overall in the future. It overall helped me learn as well showing me how their are many different languages in coding.
Homework 10 0.9 Did above and beyond quality work for my submissions
Grading Plan 10 0.9 Grading guidelines and overall plan was done correctly
Original and Creative 10 0.9 Added a video for a better understanding and made tables for our text.

  1. Created a large final project with the cumulation of all the projects (It was a uno game, where he implemented if else, variables, and more).
  2. He also talked about what he needed to improve on, and where he believes he could get better.
  3. Discussed team teaching collaboration skills.

Hi Arhaan, I liked that you had a clear and concise table with summaries and links to each lesson. It was also cool that you created an uno game that includes all the different units and it really showed that you learned a lot from the lessons. I like how you discussed that the team teach helped build your collaboration skills,

illuminati1618 commented 1 month ago

Had a very complex uno game! Had an in-depth summary of learning. It might be nice to split this up into chunks so that when you look back at it it is easier to understand what you learned. I like how you felt that the team teach helped you improve your collaboration skills and your javascript skills.

He had a big table that had links to lessons and summaries. Below each link, he had small summaries of each of the lessons. I really liked how everything was formatted neatly. He also had an overall summary that included things he needs to improve on as well as things he learned. He talked about how his collaborating skills increased, which is great.

I like the summary that you added at the very end summarizing everything you learned and what you need to improve on. You also had a great uno game, implementing if/else statements.
