Campaigns Management for entries #96

One thing that came up in a recent game is a feature for individual players to edit once it copies to their log. In this particular case someone wanted a breastplate and couldn't put it within the log since it uses the standard gold for that entry that everyone received. I understand he can make a separate entry for the purchase but I believe it on a paper one would be on the same entry to minimize space.

I think I would rather see a campaign that acts as a log for the general rewards given that copies an entry to player/dm logs but after that its divorced from the campaigns entry. So a player can edit as necessary for any individual changes (equipment purchased or individual uses of DT etc) but then can always go back and look at master logs that more of a log than something controlling individual players logs. That way if campaign is ever deleted it doesn't take all those log entries out since its under player control at that point like it would be on paper.

currently to work around this my players make individual entries after the fact to track those purchases that happen during that session, but that adds unnecessary log entries should they need to print or show at a con and other setting.

So, the big problem with this is if the DM makes a mistake, the players have to fix it each individually. At least the way I use it as a DM, I often make a number of edits before the entry is really ready.

I see your side completely maybe add a button to copy to player/DM log? So that players can wait until DM is done with edits or even at the end of campaign. That way if you copy and it's edited you can re copy after and delete original. My guys spend a lot of time scribing and buying supplies so the standard entry doesn't work in those situations but I'm also a stickler for consumables lol

Please keep in mind this item which covers the campaign issues/enhancements I have with using the feature: https://github.com/Ariel-Thomas/adventurers-league-log/issues/42
