It a known bug, I have no fix for that yet.
Switch to searchbar_popup_engines_show_labels_fx66.css
.
Oh sorry, I forgot to check if there is a separate option for FF66+. This can be closed then
Switched to searchbar_popup_engines_show_labels_fx66.css
However it has some strange height behavior. Unexpected vertical scroll appears (potentially related to recent search querries)
Is it possible to fix this?
In my tests with default configuration and default amount of search engines things seem to work, if only the _fx66.css is active.
Checked it again (I'm also on searchbar_popup_engines_show_labels_fx66.css
).
I wasn't able to catch that bug from my previous screenshot however I was more successful in catching the scroll when there is a low number of suggestions available.
Tried to search in Google for query "dfdfgdgf" got two suggestions with a scrollbar.
Also, the actual scroll can go down...
P.S. resulting search querry (if needed) https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=dfdfgdgf
Edit/Update: after searching for "dfdfgdgf" once and researching I get this
Sorry, I have no explanation for the different results.
That's a pity. Can you try to test it with some unrealistic search query that will return only 1-2 search suggestions?
Try to add this to the corresponding file.
#PopupSearchAutoComplete .search-panel-tree {
overflow-y: hidden !important;
}
Yay, confirming. It fixed the issue with scrolling for low suggestions number.
Describe the issue There seem to be issue with search suggestions height in FF66. It fails to adapt its height based on number of suggestion
What should have happened instead? Width should adapt to actual number of search suggestions
Steps to reproduce the issue? try to use separate search field.
