TIMEPLOT: Leap year grid dates not displayed #54

I've written some custom zooming code that rescales a plot without
reloading data; I use it to show a year at a time, but on leap years (or,
at least, 2004 and 2008 - perhaps the commonality is something else), none
of the grid date labels or lines are displayed.  Mouseovers are fine, as
are other years' grid date labels.  I haven't done any debugging nor do I
have a public example to share at the moment, just curious if others have
noticed anything similar.
