TIMELINE: Add version numbers as a readable value #60

Add versioning information similar to 
http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/docs/YAHOO.env.html#method_getVersion

Issues
* Build number would probably have to be maintained manually. Not sure if
the benefits of having the build number available outweigh the costs.

* What should the version number be for the trunk version?
The next upcoming version? Or something that indicates its inbetween
status...like a build number....
