The device IDs are available other ways, but are much more immediately identified as the device ID here and you can one click copy here. I don't know that more info than is immediately available on these sites are very necessary, they are pretty straight forward.

I don't have a Dev account, so the links under "SmartThings (HTTP)" show as non-working, making getting tokens and Device ID more convoluted.
