3 years ago Lesvos sources. There are a bunch of folklore museums in Lesvos that might be accessible.
(1) Limon monastery (2) Mantamados museum (3) Mono Ipsilou, a monastery on the way to Sigri (4) Andissa (has 3 museums) (5) Kalloni -- small collection, you have to go to the municipality and ask who is responsible for them (6) Filia museum. There is a woman, Ulrike from Frankfurt, in a Lesvos village called Filia, between Petra and Skala Kallonis. There is a woman there (foreign) who has lived there since 1981? 1) A Museum of Modern Greek Culture in Athens, which deals with post 1453 stuff. It has lots of pots but they are inaccessible due to moving or storage issues. 2) A Museum of Greek Folkore (?) in Athens (same as above?) which has a shop in Plaka. The museum has been closed for 3 years and is inaccessible. 3)
