I've pushed an update to use the latest ExoPlayer version. It's under the branch exoplayer-update I want to test it in my demo module but for some reason, I can't reference classes from the library module even with the right compile options in the demo build.gradle.
gotta check that out.
Hello. Will you support new ExoPlayer?
Hey, no I won't in the near future. I am no currently working on video streaming and am devoting my free time to other projects. Pull requests welcome :)

RtspExtractor embeds a very old version of ExoPlayer. For example, that version still has the
com.google.android.exoplayer.source
package, which was deleted in April, 2015 (see Issue 1).The ExoPlay library should be updated to a more recent version.
